candles, flameless candles I have really good friends who live in Las Vegas and they always throw a huge Christmas party in mid December. They always buy a fresh Christmas tree for the house and trim the tree during the party and use actual candles on it. Of course they have a fire extinguisher by the tree, but I decided I would buy them flameless candles for their tree lighting ceremony so they don't risk their house just to have the flickering effect of real candles. I ordered some candles today online that look really authentic and I have converted my candle use to just the flameless ones.

I have two long haired cats that enjoy candlelight a little too much. After one of them accidentally set his tail on fire, I decided it was time to make the switch to flameless candles. There have been so many advances in technology and the new ones look as genuine as the real ones. Now we can enjoy candles anytime we want and in any room, without having to worry about blowing them out or the cats who might be endangered by the real flames. candles, flameless candles
