candles, flameless candles I love candles, and enjoy having one burning while I work. My work is all online, so I don't have any papers or anything like that cluttering up my desk, but I will only use flameless candles in my office. The fear of fire is too deeply ingrained in me to have a live candle burning in a room filled with papers, even though they are piled feet away from the burning candles. When I work, I just love the flickering light that the flameless candles throw off and it helps center me to get my work done each day.

In fact, I've gotten so focused by using the flameless candles when I work that I've laid in quite a supply of batteries so I don't lose my trio of flickering candles during the day. I have nothing to worry about when I use this type of candles, and with two fluffy cats around, I feel so much better about using candles that won't ignite anything. If I feel like I want some aromatherapy, too, like one would get from a scented burning candle, I just put a little oil in a warmer and enjoy the effects of the aroma and the flickering lights, too. candles, flameless candles
