scented candle, scented candlesI always keep at least one scented candle in my bathroom and there are two good reasons for this. I like to light a scented candle or two when I have a bubble bath. Relaxing with a low ambient light and a glass of wine in a hot bubble bath is something that I have always found very soothing. I think it helps to get rid of the tension of the day so that I can reconnect with myself.
There is another reason why I always keep a scented candle in my bathroom and it’s something most people don’t like to talk about. Personally I don’t see the reason for the big taboo on the subject because we all do it. I light a scented candle in my bathroom to get rid of unpleasant odors when somebody has been in there. I would use a fresh air spray but I have a weak chest and the chemicals in them can make me wheeze if I’m not careful. I’d rather light a scented candle to make my bathroom smell fresh again. Of course scented candles also look decorative and they add a touch of class to any bathroom.
