candles, scented candleI've found myself kind of stuck in the same old routine, so I decided to do something about it!  I went online and picked out a wonderful selection of scented candles that I thought would set the mood for a romantic evening with the husband. 

When my candles arrived, I could hardly wait to rip open the box and pull out all the different scents I had selected; it was like Christmas!  I then took a few of those candles and set them around the edge of our swimming pool with a little glass dish under each one. 

That night when my husband got home from work I had dinner already on the table.  When we had finished eating I took him by the hand and walked him outside.  I had slipped out just before I invited him outside and I lit each of the candles, so they were all there twinkling in the moonlight!  You should have seen the look on his face; it was priceless!  He quickly told me that he would be right back and he slipped away to put on his swimming trunks, which I had all laid out with his towel on the couch. 

I will never forget the wonderfully romantic evening we shared with the romantic scented candles surrounding us, in the cool water!  We had a romantic get away right in the privacy of our own backyard!
