I actually have at least one scented candle in every single room in my house. The main reason I use scented candles is to get rid of unpleasant odors from cooking. For instance if I have been cooking curry or fish I open up the windows and light scented candle or two to get rid of the smell afterwards.
I also use the scented candle for aesthetic purposes. The scented candle doesn't just smell good, it is also very decorative. Therefore I buy scented candles that match the color schemes in the rooms of my home. I’ve also noticed that lighting a scented candle can totally change the ambience within a room and lend it a cozier feel.
I’ve used a scented candle during a power outage too. They provide me with enough light to read a book or navigate my way to the bathroom. Perhaps the best thing about them is that it is inexpensive to buy despite the fact that they have several different uses. In my experience they are especially reasonable in cost when I look for a discount online.
