Which Essential Oils Do Your Candles Contain? |

Like many people I enjoy lighting candles to create a tender ambiance in my bedroom. However I am very particular about the type of candles I use for that type of situation. You see aromatherapy is a topic I find quite interesting and that is how I learned that certain essential oils promote feelings of love and passion. That’s why I tend to use certain types of scented candles in my bedroom. I look for scented candles that contain essential oils such as vanilla, cinnamon or lavender. In fact there are certain aromas that are renowned aphrodisiacs and some of them have been tested via clinical research. From what I have read it would seem that essential oils such as lavender, vanilla, ginger, licorice, rose, ylang-ylang, patchouli, pine, nutmeg, geranium, cinnamon and ginger can cause sexual excitement in men, women or both. Conversely other aromas are actually purported to be a turn off. I tend to shop carefully for candles that I will be putting into my bedroom. I want to encourage passion and intimacy rather than put a damper on things.
