There are sometimes things that you learn every single day. The other day it was a lecture from my wife about buying things online – go figure right? Because I have forever been the one that has been telling her about the values of online shopping. So it does make sense that from time to time I will even break my own rules; even when it comes to something as simple as candles. So there we are, at the grocery store shopping for some food to cook for dinner last night. I go to grab some scented candles off the store shelf and my wife grabs my hand – why are you paying for these things here when you can easily save tons of money online? I tell her, really – it’s a CANDLE baby? She laughs, and reminds me how many times I have told her about makeup, even small little pieces, and forced her instead to shop online.
I start laughing and let her know, hey you are right. Even smaller things like candles we can order online for a lot less money than we would ever pay locally, even at the grocery store.
