I am so glad I started using scented candles. When I have my Mother in Law over I go with refreshing and relaxing scented candles. I found the

I like lilac because it gives me a feeling of calm and relaxation. At Christmas I have been using a variety of candles depending on my mood. Christmas time is perfect for candy cane, fresh pine, cinnamon buns, eggnog, and the Christmas mix candles I have found.
When I have my friends over for our weekly get together I have been alternating between lemon and pomegranate candles. They are refreshing without making us snack like the chocolate cookie or coconut pie candles do. When I want to relax and read I like lighting summer flower scented candles. My husband has become fond of the coffee and apple pie candles.
My friends joke that they never know what my home is going to smell like, but it is always nice. I like that. I also like trying new candles, though I do have a few favorites. For my birthday my employees gave me a gift basket full of candles that smelled like fruit. Someone had suggested a fruit basket but they knew I would like the fruit flavored candles more. There was strawberry, pineapple, blueberry, plum, oranges and fresh apples candles. My house smelled of fruit for weeks. It was the perfect gift for me. I am looking forward to Christmas and all the new candles I will get to try.
My daughter has threatened to only give me ones that smell like food. She found a collection of candles that look and smell like pies, cakes and cookies. She knows I love them but avoid them because they make me hungry. My husband wants to find a bunch of tropical scented ones that will remind us of our honeymoon. That is a romantic side of him I don’t see that often. It is nice to know it is still there.
I love my candles so much I decided to give them to my staff for Christmas. I would like to give them all a cappuccino scented candle with their Christmas bonus check. Though my husband suggested I should go with a candle that does not smell like they are still at work. That lets out all the fun food ones seeing as we run a coffee shop and bakery. He thinks we should give them ones that smell like Christmas trees or any other Christmas themed scent. My daughter said we should go with Candy Cane because everyone loves it. I will have to see what
Purple Rose Candles & Gifts has in and go from there. I am sure they will have the right candles to give my staff.
