Bring the Outdoors in During Cold Months with Scented Candles |

After turning on the news this morning, I saw it snowed in Minneapolis last night and I guess this mild fall is finally giving way to the colder temperatures associated with winter. When it gets cold outside, we love to light our scented candles and enjoy their aroma. We don't go outside much in the winter and like to buy scented candles that have the smells of nature so we don't feel so house-bound.
I buy all our scented candles online where it's easy to find a wide selection of them at great prices. The candle pictured here is a combination of apricots and freesias, both scents that we all love. We have freesia bulbs planted in the flower garden, and they'll start blooming around March in our climate, but their blooming season is short, so having this candle to burn when they're not blooming will give us a feeling of spring, even when it's cold outdoors. I anticipate that this candle will smell really good. I'm also ordering a rosemary candle, too, because we also love that smell. Anyone who gets stir crazy in the cold days of winter can get an affordable candle to bring the outdoors in, even though it's freezing outdoors. |
