Are you struggling with an idea for a centerpiece? I have been there! I was planning a dinner party for my girlfriends. We had planned to each bring a special dish but it was definitely not going to be served pot luck style. We were going to make it special with candles and everything! I offered to host the dinner party at my house. All they had to do was make their dish and bring it.

I easily came up with the linens. I wanted a warm rustic pink as the main color scheme. I made name plates out of ceramic flower shaped labels. The centerpiece took some thought. I was going with a feminine flower theme. The lighting would be subtle with flower scented candles. I found a shallow metal bowl, filled it with water and floated fresh cut flowers and scented candles in the bowl. It was beautiful and fit the ticket perfectly.

The girls arrived, everyone in a pretty flowered dress. The individual dishes were set upon the table. Bottles of wine were opened. I had a gift wrapped box with a rustic pink ribbon on it at each place setting. Every guest left that evening with their own set of scented candles. We had a great time!
