Who doesn’t like the look and scent of burning candles every once in awhile? I always like playing with the wax but candles can end up ruining a great day if the flame jumps onto something nearby. After hearing some of the sad stories of people who lost their homes in the LA Station Fire, I am sort of hesitant to use candles. I know a candle didn’t burn down the lost homes but the idea of losing the precious items we all have is something no one should have to go through.
The flameless candle is the answer. I guess these have been around for a long time but I never noticed them until something clicked in my brain while flipping on the fake, light up fireplace in my apartment. With a quick search online, I found flameless candles to be cheap. I would much rather have a candle I can step out of the room and not worry about then the traditional kind which leaves wax all over the place; as fun as wax is to play with.
