So my idea is rather simple in reality, but it can really help to prevent fires in your home if you like burning candles often. All that you need is a recessed plate that dips down, something ornamental if you really want it to sit well with the rest of your home’s interior décor. The concept is really simple. Fill the recessed dish with a little bit of water – you can add a splash of fragrance to the water to keep it smelling nice – and then place the candle in the middle. If it tips over or burns down all of the way, the water will simply extinguish the flame, and you don’t have to worry about something catching fire.
