candles, flameless candlesMy mom has always burned scented candles in the house. The lovely smells and the look of the candles  was something I would do too in my own home. I was visiting my mom the other evening and as I was walking myself out, I noticed she still had her candles burning in the kitchen. I told her to be sure to blow them out and she admitted that she totally forgot about them. That was all I needed to hear, my mom’s forgetfulness on some things was getting worrisome. I immediately went online to search for flameless candles. There was a wide assortment of sizes and styles and the candles truly look real. They even flicker like having a flame in them. At the next visit to my moms, I set up the flameless candles and she couldn’t believe they were not the typical candle. She wanted some more and I am happy to oblige. I will also buy a few for me. I can’t tell you the peace of mind I have not worrying about her blowing out the candles or dealing with the flames.
