candle, scented candleI love burning candles so today when I was shopping online, I ordered another one. The one I found is an Almond Biscotti Essential Blend scented candle with a 120 hour burn time. If we burn it four hours a night, this candle will last 30 days. Of course, we don't burn the same candle evening after evening, because I like to burn them to suit or make my mood. We have about two months of weather left where we won't have to run the air conditioning, so we are going to take every advantage of the next 60 days to indulge ourselves by enjoying candles inside.

We use the candles out on the patio frequently on warm spring nights to enjoy the fragrance, and this candle might be perfect when the citrus trees are blooming for a nice, contrasting smell. Sometimes when we cook, we notice some of the aromas are just wonderful together, like apple pie and cranberries. They even taste good together, too, so I might even try mixing some almonds with citrus to see how that tastes.

I found this pillar at Purple Rose Candles and Gifts at http://www.purplerosecandlesandgifts.com/, a great site with a solid selection of different candles and other nice things for the home. I buy a lot of things for the home online instead of at the mall a few miles away because it's so much easier to find specific things I want and it saves so much time compared to shopping at the mall. I had to go out today for cat food and a few other groceries and it took me an hour and a half, start to finish, so when I want something new for the house, I'll hop online at shops like Purple Rose Candles and Gifts to save time and money.

In the summer I'll be looking for floating candles for the pool. We live in Phoenix and having a swimming pool in the backyard makes summers here much more enjoyable. We've never used floating candles before, so it should be fun to see what it's like to have them in the water with us. It's nice to be able to use candles year round and having found a great website for them makes buying them much easier. I even have a few candles stashed away in the closet to give as impromptu gifts. There isn't anyone I know who doesn't burn them, so if a gift giving occasion comes up over the year, I'm always covered.
