candles, scented candleI ordered these taper candles today because they are perfect colors for our family room. We just redecorated it and used a lot of earth tones in the furniture and flooring. We have some really nice candle holders that these tapers will be perfect for. I love having candles burning, especially during the cold winter months and these were a great buy online. They are called the Tapers Autumn Breeze, and even though spring is on the way, these colors are perfect in our family room. I try to light candles every night that we spend in the family room watching TV or movies because they cast such beautiful light on things. These come in a package of six, two of each color. They are also smoke free and dripless.

I've been buying more and more of our products online and really appreciate the values that I find for good products that we need around the house, and some we don't need but sure want to have. Candles are actually something that we need to have around the house for emergencies, too. Although the new LED flashlights last a long time, it's good to have candles in case we want to light the gas stove. Our stove has an electronic ignition and with no power, there's no cooking. It's not so bad in the summer, but in the winter, we can use the gas oven for heat.

Candles also create such a wonderful ambiance in the house wherever they are burning. Nothing feels better than a warm soaking bath with aromatherapy oils and having scented candles burning around the garden tub. It's a luxury I love in the winter and use votive candles instead of tapers. It's also nice having candles burning on our patio table on a still evening when we want to enjoy a beautiful evening outdoors. If we had mosquitos, we'd buy the citronella candles, but our climate is much to dry to worry much about those flying nuisances. We even have a separate cabinet in the family room to store our candles in, too, which is telling about how important candles are to our daily life.
