Over the weekend in a car full of three friends, I drove down south to hit some coastal bars near the apartment of a friend. It is a medium sized two bedroom apartment with comfortable sleeping for 2 maybe 3 people on the couches. After heading out to the local bars and scarffing down some of the best BBQ chicken pizza I’ve ever had from a brewery with an exceptional stout for just four dollars we hailed a cab and made our way back to the apartment.
We had met up with a couple who’d driven up to meet us so now the count was six people trying to find a place to sleep around the living room.I crashed right on the carpet, my buddy found refuge in the closet, the couple took the couch, one dude fell asleep sitting on a love seat and another shared a bed with one of the people who lived there. Needless to say it smelled bad in the morning. Luckily scented candles were nearby and after an hour the place was smelling less like a locker room. It is always smart to have scented candles on hand.
