As you may have seen on the national news, Southern California along with surrounding areas have been hit with a barrage of storm fronts since Monday. Looking out the window right now, I don’t hear the heavy rain anymore but that may be because the cloud above ran out of precipitation. The deluge has wreaked havoc on cliffside buildings now evacuated for fear of being lost in mudslides. With all the wet weather the roommates along with myself have been coming in and out sloppy wet. You know that smell when denim gets drench. It has sort of taken over our place.
To thwart these not so attractive smells, one of the roommates took it upon herself to light the scented candles. I will be home for most of today so leaving the wicks burning is safe. Scented candles really do a great job at cleaning up tough to deal with smells. I have learned the power of candles ever since living with a girl. They look good, can smell good and are really affordable online. Probably the cheapest piece of home décor.
