Candles
Recently I received a huge shipment of candles that I’d ordered online and forgotten all about. No, I didn’t order them months ago, but in reality I ordered them a little over a week ago, but there has been so much going on around the house that I’d forgotten all about the candles. The great thing about that is, when I received it, it was just like Christmas, although I do admit feeling pretty silly that I forgot that I ordered the candles in the first place.
During the winter months, I can’t seem to keep enough candles in the house. I burn them almost every day, and in addition to adding a nice ambiance to the house, they also smell great. I also believe that they add a little extra warmth to the house. I think my favorite scents of candles are either vanilla or mulberry and you can generally find both in my house. I also happen to love vanilla-orange which tends to make me smile, and remind me of those old push-up ice creams that I used to eat when I was a kid. Funny how the oddest little things can bring back so many great memories.
