One of my least favorite things in the world to do is move but it is that time of the year again. My current lease is about to end and a new one will soon start. I’ve been through every imaginable moving scenario. The worst was during an Arizona August when we had to move heavy couches, beds and dressers up three flights of stairs in 110-degree heat. I was sweating when we were parking the moving truck. Every student in the desert knows what it is like to move in summer heat. I vowed to never do that again.
With the weather somewhat mild where I live now, there won’t be much frustration while moving. What might get frustrating is decorating a new place. When three guys are in charge of décor it can go one of two ways. Awesome or plain. One of my new roommates keeps saying he has scented pillar candles for the living room mantle. I too have candles from previous online purchases. The scented candle is a life saver after a long night of weekend fun in a smelly apartment, plus they look good.
