candle, scented candleI live in my house with my husband, three step-grandchildren, cat and two dogs. I also work from home and although we keep our house clean it isn’t palatial and sometimes the air gets a bit smelly. We have to contend with pet smells and other odors from cooking etc. That is why I always have a few scented candles in my home. I lit these scented candles earlier today because I’ve been cooking lasagna and we have my husband’s uncle staying overnight at our house. These scented candles have helped me to ensure that my home smells clean and fresh so that neither I nor my husband have to deal with feelings of embarrassment or paranoia about the smell inside our home. Our house smells wonderful now in all areas of our home with the exception of our laundry room where we keep the cat’s litter box. The laundry room is definitely the smelliest room in our house. The cat’s litter tray is clean and I lit a candle in there too. However I have a very keen nose so I can still detect trace odors of cat pee and poop when I am in there. Fortunately there is no reason for my husband’s uncle to enter the laundry room so we should be fine.
