Scented Candles Go Great with Turkey Dinner Any Time of Year |

My sister is coming to visit us next week and I've gotten the guest room almost all ready to go. The computer is in place, the bedding is fresh, and I have a tray of candles she can light to relax in the evenings. There is nothing nicer than having a few scented candles burning, especially in the winter when it's cloudy and raining. Some scented candles have the best aroma, and I hope that I found the perfect scents for her. I chose rosemary and sage, knowing she loves to eat these herbs.
We plan on having a turkey dinner while she's here and I might ask her to bring those candles to the table when we serve that dinner to enhance the natural aromas from the stuffing and the turkey. I can't wait to start cooking that dinner because not only does it taste great, it's also a good looking dinner to put on the table. The colors cover the whole rainbow and with few exceptions, it's a pretty healthy one, too. We have figured out how to take the sugar out of the cranberries and use butter discretely in the dressing and mashed potatoes. Not only will our candles compliment the beauty of the meal, the scents will also drive our appetites into the stratosphere, too.
